Powered or unpowered camping on private farm with direct access to the Mary River (note restricted opening hours).

The Kenilworth Homestead is open to campers from 2pm Friday to 10am Monday during school terms and open everyday during the Queensland school holidays. There are no time restrictions during the holiday times.

Our campgrounds stretch along 1km of the Mary River with beach access and no 4WD required. We have miniature donkeys & ponies plus friendly alpacas you may feed and pat at any time. Horses also live on the property. We strictly ask that no one goes in to any of the paddocks but the animals will come to the fence and will warmly welcome you!

Dogs are allowed, we ask you keep them on a lead at all times and clean up after them.

Bring the bikes as our BMX track is popular with all ages and it's a short 2km walk or ride to town.

We have two amenities blocks with toilets and showers, we also have four composting toilets closer to the river.

We offer (8) powered and hundreds of unpowered campsites across 40+ acres.

Our weekend camping rates are $15/night for adults and $8 night for children (3-17 yrs), family rate 2 adults and 2 children $46 per night, for powered sites an extra $2 per person per night. Holiday rates apply. The powered sites have a designated space, separate from the unpowered camping sites and pre-booking is definitely reccomended.

We do have a strict 10.30pm noise curfew and generator curfew.
